DRESS CODE

All students must abide by our Steps Dance Center dress code. Our dress code is in place for safety, professionalism, and for the optimal training of the dancer.

Hair must be pulled back neatly away from the face. Ballet classes must have their hair secured in a bun. No jewelry is permitted.

*Please label all belongings. The Lost & Found is located in the back hallway near the Steps Cafe. Steps is not responsible for lost articles.

Ballet

First Steps & Dance Exploration

Females: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair should be pulled into a neat bun. No exceptions.

Males: Black dance pants, white shirt, black shoe.

First Steps & Dance Exploration

Pink leotard and pink tights are required. Dancers may also wear a pink skirt.

Boys may wear a white t-shirt with black shorts or pants.

Shoes: Pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes.

Broadway Babes

First Steps & Dance Exploration

Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, & Contemporary

Black leotard and pink tights are required. Dancers may also wear a black skirt.

Boys may wear a white t-shirt with black shorts or pants.

Shoes: Black jazz shoes, black tap shoes.

Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, & Contemporary

Leotards, shorts, jazz pants, leggings. Tight fitting tanks, half tops. No T-shirts or sweatpants. Hair must be pulled back neatly away from the face.

Hip Hop

Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, & Contemporary

Hip Hop

Comfortable clothing (sweats, basketball shorts, t-shirt, leggings). Clean sneakers (not to be worn outside).

Acro
