Quarterly Tuition

Our year includes 34 weeks of class (two 8 week quarters, two 9 week quarters).

30 Minutes | $148.00

45 Minutes | $180.00

60 Minutes | $215.00

75 Minutes | $250.00

90 Minutes | $275.00

Registration Fee

A $40 non-refundable registration fee is required for each student at the time of enrollment. This fee secures your dancer’s spot in class and helps cover administrative and start-up costs for the season.

Recital Costume Fees

Single Classes (One Costume) | $155.00

Combo Classes (Two Costumes) | $205.00

Costume fee includes a Recital T-shirt.

Costume Fees will be charged on November 11th, 2026.

Policies

Credit Card on File Policy

To make billing simple and secure for our families, Steps Dance Center requires a valid credit card to be kept on file for all enrolled students.

Your card will only be charged for tuition, fees, and other authorized purchases (such as costumes or event fees).
Tuition is billed automatically according to our posted payment schedule.
If you prefer to pay by cash, check, or another method, you may do so before the due date; otherwise, the card on file will be charged for any outstanding balance.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your card information is current. Declined or expired cards may result in late fees.

By enrolling at Steps Dance Center, you agree to this policy and authorize us to charge your card for tuition and related fees as outlined above.

Refund Policy

Tuition and registration fees are non refundable. A credit may be issued for future use if your dancer is unable to continue in his/her enrolled class.

Attendance

Consistent attendance is important to a students’ growth as well as to the curriculum of the entire class. Please call the studio to inform of absence. Classes begin on time with all students ready to dance.

Make-Up Classes

Absences may be made up during the current term. Please ask your current instructor if you would like a recommendation for an appropriate class. Please notify Steps Dance Center in advance if you plan on attending a make-up class.

Weather Closure Policy

If District 204 is closed for weather related problems, Steps Dance Center will be closed. In the case of severe weather, we will send an e-mail and change our voicemail. We will also post to our Facebook and Spond pages. Students will be able to make up a class missed for severe weather at another time. Please speak to your instructor for a recommendation for an appropriate class. We do not offer credit or refunds for missed classes due to severe weather.

Class Size

Class size limits are determined by the style of dance, age of student, and size of studio space. We keep our classes at a size that ensures each dancer will receive the attention they need. Larger classes often have a teaching assistant. If a class has reached full capacity, you may join a waiting list. Steps reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment.

Food and Drink

No gum, food or drink in dance rooms. Absolutely no nut products are permitted in the studio. We have a filtered water fountain available for dancers, as well as water bottles available for purchase for $1 at the front desk.

Attire for Dancers

Dancers must abide by the Steps Dance Center dress code. If a student arrives for class not wearing the appropriate attire they will not be able to participate in the class for that day. Our dress code is in place for safety, professionalism, and for the optimal training of the dancer. Hair must be pulled back neatly away from the face. Ballet classes must have their hair secured in a bun. No jewelry is permitted.
