your safety

We are closely following recommendations from the Illinois Department of Health and the CDC.  Our studio will be implementing the following protocol in order to maintain the safety of all of our students, staff, and dance families:

• Students should arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to their scheduled class time. 
• Parents/guardians will walk dancer to the door or drop off in the parking lot.
• Temperatures will be taken on all dancers and parents upon arrival.
• In order to eliminate cross traffic, classes scheduled in Studios E and F will enter through our side entrance (to the right of our front door).  Classes scheduled in Studios A, B, C, and D will enter through our main front door. Class times have also been staggered to reduce cross traffic and congestion in common areas.
• Dancers will be required to use hand sanitizer at the beginning and end of every class.
• Please be sure that hair is secured in place to reduce dancers touching their face.
• Dancers must wear masks at all times.
• The cubbies will be off limits for the time being to reduce congestion in common areas. Dancers should bring all belongings into the dance room, to be placed in laundry baskets that will be disinfected between each class.
• Our water fountain will be closed for the time being.  Please be sure to bring your own water bottle from home with your first and last name clearly marked..  We will have water bottles available at the front desk in case of an emergency.
• Dancers will have specific boundaries in the studio to keep space between each other per CDC guidelines. Our floors have been marked every six feet to ensure social distancing.
• Dance floors and common areas will be disinfected in between each class. We have added breaks to our schedule to ensure enough time for proper cleaning.
• If your dancer or someone in your family is sick or has a fever, please stay home.  We will stream all classes on Zoom and are providing the option for dancers to take classes in-studio or from home.
