12-24 Month Dance Classes

Yes! Dance With Me is designed for children as young as 12 months. At this age, "dancing" looks a lot like exploring, wiggling, and finding new ways to move to music — and that's exactly what we're doing. You'll be right there with them the whole time, so there's no need to worry about separation or expectations.

Each 30-minute class blends music, movement games, gentle stretches, songs with props (scarves, shakers, bubbles), and free exploration time. You'll sing and dance together, follow simple prompts, and end with a calming activity. Think of it like a joyful mix of music class, sensory play, and movement — all with your child in your arms or right beside you.

Something comfortable and easy to move in. Your child can wear anything they can dance freely in — leggings, a onesie, a little tutu, whatever's easy. Bare feet or grippy socks are perfect (no shoes required). For you, comfy clothes you can sit, stretch, and move in.

Not at all. You are your child's favorite person — that's the only qualification you need. Our instructor will lead every activity, so you can just follow along and enjoy the class together.

That's completely normal and totally welcome. Some little ones jump right in, others prefer to watch for the first few classes, and some need a snack or a snuggle mid-class. All of it is okay. Our instructor is used to every kind of day and won't be phased. You know your child best — do whatever helps them feel safe.

Once your child turns 2, they can move into our Dance Exploration classes — a slightly longer format where they'll start exploring the very basics of tap and ballet. The transition is natural, and many of our Dance With Me families continue right into Dance Exploration together.
