Pop Princess Dance Classes in Aurora, IL

Pop Princess is designed for ages 3 and 4. The class length, music, and choreography are all calibrated for this specific developmental stage — longer than our Age 2 classes, but still shorter and more playful than our K-and-up offerings.

All dancers are welcome in Pop Princess — the "princess" theme is more about letting little performers shine than about who's in the class. That said, Pop Princess has historically been more popular with girls. If your son would be more comfortable in a different class, our Kidz Jazz & Hip Hop offerings for the same age might be a better fit.

Upbeat, kid-friendly pop favorites — the kinds of songs your dancer may already know from the car, from TV shows, or from friends. Our instructors curate playlists that are age-appropriate and change throughout the season to keep things fresh.

Not at all. Pop Princess is designed as a first dance experience for many of our students. Our instructors are experienced at welcoming total beginners and making them feel like stars from the first class.

Yes! Pop Princess dancers perform in our winter Holiday Show and present a routine in our end-of-year recital at Neuqua Valley High School. Getting to perform their favorite choreography on a real stage, in a real costume, with real stage lights — that's a core joy of this class.

Once your dancer turns 5, they can move into our Ages 4–5 program — with options like Bitty Ballet, Tiny Tappers, Kidz Jazz & Hip Hop, and Dance Exploration. The confidence and performance skills built in Pop Princess translate beautifully into any of these next steps.
