Three styles. One class. The most efficient way to build a well-rounded dancer. Our Triple Threat combo pairs Jazz, Tap, and either Ballet or Musical Theatre — perfect for dancers who love variety, performance, and want to try it all.
Triple Threat is our most popular combo class — and the most efficient way to give your dancer a well-rounded foundation. Instead of signing up for three separate classes, your dancer gets Jazz, Tap, and either Ballet or Musical Theatre all in one session.
Depending on your dancer's age, the "third style" is either Ballet (foundational technique) or Musical Theatre (performance and storytelling). Both versions deliver the same core benefit — versatility across styles taught in a single class — but with slightly different emphases for different age groups.
Please reach us at info@stepsdancecenteronline.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The Ages 4–5 and 1st–3rd Grade versions pair Jazz, Ballet, and Tap — building a strong technical foundation. The K–1st Grade version swaps Ballet for Musical Theatre, focusing more on performance, storytelling, and stage presence. Both are great — the right choice depends on your dancer's age and what their natural strengths lean toward.
Triple Threat is a great fit for dancers who love variety, enjoy performing, and want to try multiple styles without committing to three separate classes. It's also the most efficient way to give a young dancer well-rounded technique in a single weekly session. If your dancer already knows they want to specialize in one style, standalone classes may be a better fit.
Not at all. Triple Threat is designed as a first-time or early dance experience. Our instructors are experienced at welcoming total beginners alongside dancers who've been with us for a while.
Absolutely — many of our most committed dancers do exactly that. Triple Threat gives them exposure across styles while standalone Ballet, Jazz, or Tap classes build deeper technique in one specific style. Multi-class family discounts apply.
Triple Threat students need attire for all three styles: leotard, tights or leggings, ballet shoes, tap shoes, and jazz shoes. Hair pulled back. Full attire guide at shopnimbly.com/stepsdancecenter — our front desk team is happy to help you get set up before your first class.
Yes! Triple Threat students perform in our winter Holiday Show and present a routine in the end-of-year recital at Neuqua Valley High School. Depending on the age tier, dancers may present multiple routines showcasing the different styles they've learned.
Once your dancer is in 4th grade or shows a clear preference for one style, they typically transition into standalone technique classes — Ballet, Jazz, Tap, or Lyrical/Contemporary. The combo foundation from Triple Threat makes that transition smooth and gives them a head start in whichever direction they choose to specialize.
