Early childhood

Help your child discover movement and expression while networking with other parents through a structure that blends dance, music, and imagination. Students are introduced to a class structure, age appropriate stretches, coordination exercises, and rhythm through a safe and special experience with mommy/daddy/etc. Added benefits for parents are increased flexibility, balance, and dance appreciation. Class also includes a movement story that encourages young children to explore, experiment, and create through creative dance.  No Previous Dance Experience required. 

Explore creative movement and experience an introduction to ballet and tap terminology and technique in this class for young dancers.  Dancers will learn one piece to be performed in our annual Holiday Show and year-end recital. 

This ballet and tap combo class will give dancers a strong foundation in classical technique, class structure, and performance.  Dancers will learn two pieces to perform in our annual Holiday Show and recital.  All of our Dance Exploration dancers perform together in a showstopping themed production each year!

This ballet/tap/jazz combo class is a great bridge from (or addition to) our Dance Exploration program for dancers who are looking to begin learning basic ballet, jazz, and tap technique including isolations, strength, rhythm, and performance. This is a great class for dancers who are thinking about joining our Steps Dance Company! Dancers will learn two pieces to perform in our annual Holiday Show and year-end recital.

Dancers will gain flexibility and strength in this ballet and tumbling combination class for young dancers.  Dancers will learn one ballet piece to perform in our Holiday Show and year-end recital.

This class is perfect for young dancers who love to move & groove! Dancers  will learn combinations to upbeat music and will perform in one number in our Holiday Show and year-end recital.
